Women can avail of this scheme
The benefit of this scheme is given only to women. Therefore men cannot avail this scheme. Under this scheme, the benefit of free gas cylinder is given only to those women who are living below the poverty line. The female applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Apart from this, it is also necessary that there is no other LPG gas connection in the same house.

To avail of the scheme, the applicant must have some documents. This includes an Aadhar card and address proof. Apart from this, you must also have documents like a ration card, bank account details, etc., which are issued by the state from which you are applying.
