Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), financial assistance is given to crores of farmers every year. The beneficiary farmers of this scheme are eagerly waiting for the 18th installment.
There is good news for them the government is going to release the 18th installment in October. However, to avail of this installment, first of all, the farmers have to complete the process of e-KYC.

PM-Kisan Yojana
Under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana launched by the Government of India to provide financial assistance to farmers, an amount of ₹ 6,000 is given to the farmers every year.
This amount is given in three installments, in which ₹ 2,000 is transferred to the bank account of the farmers every four months.
So far, the government has released 17 installments and the 18th installment is likely to be released in October. Farmers who have not completed their e-KYC will not be able to take advantage of this scheme, so get your e-KYC done on time.
How to do e-KYC in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Now it has become very easy to get e-KYC done. You can do it online from home. For this, you have to visit the official website of PM Kisan (pmkisan.gov.in). Here you can complete your e-KYC by following some easy steps:
First of all, go to pmkisan.gov.in.
Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section and select the ‘e-KYC’ option.
Then enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
After this, OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
Enter OTP and submit. Your e-KYC will be completed and you will also get a message about it on your mobile.
How to Check Status of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Farmers can also easily check the status of PM Kisan Yojana. For this, they have to visit the PM Kisan website and click on ‘Know Your Status’ there. Here you can check your status by entering your registration number and OTP.
When will the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana be arrived
The government is planning to deposit the amount of the 18th installment in the account of farmers in October.
So far, the central government has released 17 installments under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, out of which the 17th installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi in June 2023.
So far, more than 9 crore farmers have benefited under this scheme and the government has spent more than ₹ 20 thousand crores under this scheme.
