If you are between the ages of 18 and 70, you can easily benefit from this scheme. To enroll, you only need to pay an annual premium of Rs 20. In the event of an accidental death, the nominee will receive assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh. Additionally, if the insured suffers from total disability, such as the complete loss of eyesight or limbs, a benefit of up to Rs 2 lakh is provided. For permanent partial disabilities, a benefit of up to Rs 1 lakh may be granted.
Terms and Conditions
1. The annual premium of Rs 20 for the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is valid for one year only, after which renewal is necessary.
2. The insurance payout for death or disability due to an accident will be disbursed according to the established rules.
3. Applicants must be between 18 and 70 years old and must be Indian citizens.
4. An active savings account is required; if the account is closed, the policy will become void.
5. The applicant must provide consent for the automatic debit of the policy premium.
