Aadhaar card controversy!

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had alleged before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections that Aadhaar cards of 50 citizens were “delinked” in East Burdwan, Birbhum, North and South 24 Parganas, and several areas of North Bengal. On this, UIDAI denied the CM’s allegations and said that no Aadhaar number has been canceled. UIDAI also informed that it will address all complaints and ensure security of Aadhaar data.
