What is the current gold price on MCX?
There has been a slight decrease in the price of gold on the futures market i.e. MCX. For October futures, gold has become cheaper by Rs 162 per 10 grams as compared to yesterday and has fallen to Rs 71,668 per tola. At the same time, gold closed at Rs 71,830 on Wednesday.
Gold became cheaper today
The official website of IBJA reports that as of today, 22nd August 2024, the price of 995 purity gold stands at Rs 71430 per kilogram.
At the same time, today i.e. on Thursday, the price of 916 purity gold is Rs 65693 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 750 purity gold is Rs 53788 per 10 grams.

In addition to gold, the domestic market is witnessing a decrease in the price of silver compared to yesterday. After becoming cheaper on Thursday, silver has reached Rs 84783 per kg. On Wednesday, silver closed at Rs 84,863 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
In the capital Delhi, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 72970, 22 carat is Rs 66950 and 18 carat is Rs 54720 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 72870, 22 carat is Rs 66800 and 18 carat is Rs 54660 per 10 grams.
In Chennai, the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 72870, 22 carat is Rs 66800 per tola and 18 carat is Rs 54720 per 10 grams.
In Kolkata, the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 72870, 22 carat is Rs 66800 per tola and 18 carat is Rs 54660 per 10 grams.
In Ahmedabad, the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 72920, 22 carat is Rs 66850 per tola and 18 carat is Rs 54700 per 10 grams.
In Lucknow, the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 72970, 22 carat is Rs 66950 per tola and 18 carat is Rs 54780 per 10 grams.
