Ahead of the Holi festival, there is good news for train passengers. To make travel easier for passengers, there will be two special train services during Holi and the summer holidays. The first one, train number 09007/09008, is the Valsad-Khatipura (Jaipur)-Valsad Weekly Special. It will operate from March 6 to March 27, 2025, with four trips. Train 09007 will depart Valsad on Thursdays at 1:50 PM and arrive in Khatipura on Fridays at 8:10 AM.
On the flip side, train number 09008 will run from Khatipura (Jaipur) to Valsad from March 7 to March 28, 2025, also with four trips. It will leave Khatipura on Fridays at 7:05 PM and reach Valsad on Saturdays at noon. This service will make stops at Udhna, Vadodara, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Kishangarh, and Jaipur. The train will consist of 22 coaches, including 1 second AC, 5 third AC, 12 sleeper coaches, 2 general class, and 2 guard coaches.
Next up is the 09001/09002 Mumbai Central-Khatipura (Jaipur)-Mumbai Central Tri-weekly Special train service. Train 09001 will run from March 3 to March 29, 2025, with 12 trips. It will leave Mumbai Central every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:20 PM, arriving in Khatipura the next day at 4:40 PM.
Train number 09002 will head back from Khatipura (Jaipur) to Mumbai Central from March 4 to March 30, 2025, also with 12 trips. It will depart Khatipura every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 7:05 PM, reaching Mumbai Central the following day at 1:30 PM.
This service will stop at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, and Jaipur. The train will have 16 coaches, including 4 second AC and 10 third AC coaches, plus 2 power car coaches.
