Good news for train passengers. Especially there is a good news for those traveling by Namo Bharat Train (Rapid Rail). The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched a loyalty points program. Loyalty points will be earned on tickets purchased through the ‘RRTS Connect’ mobile application. These points can be redeemed to buy tickets. Under the loyalty points programme, passengers will get 1 point for every rupee spent on NaMo Bharat train tickets. The value of each loyalty point is Rs 0.10 (10 paise), which will be credited to the passenger’s account.

This distance is 42 kilometers. On this route, the train passes through Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modi Nagar South, and Modi Nagar North. The 82-km-long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is expected to be fully operational by June next year. If this happens, it will be possible to travel from Delhi to Meerut in less than an hour.

You are getting 500 points for downloading the app

Every new user who downloads the RRTS Connect app will be awarded 500 loyalty points worth Rs 50. Passengers can earn an additional 500 loyalty points by referring other users to the RRTS Connect app. This will earn 500 loyalty points to both the referrer and the person who has been referred. NCRTC expects that this initiative will not only benefit commuters but will also boost the use of digital QR ticketing through the RRTS Connect app.

Live tracking of the train can be done from the RRTS Connect app. Apart from this, you can know about the availability of real-time parking at RRTS stations. Bikes, autos and cabs can be booked directly through platforms like the Rapido app. The app also provides information about feeder bus schedules to travel beyond RRTS stations.
