HP Employees Pensioners Salary Pension: More than 200,000 employees have been given relief in Himachal Pradesh. According to a statement by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukh, the salaries were deposited in employees’ accounts on Thursday. This is the first time in the state’s history that government employees will receive their salaries on September 5th. Earlier, salaries and pensions were paid on the first day of every month.

In fact, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukh recently announced in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly that employees will receive their salaries on September 5th and pensioners will receive their pensions on September 10th. According to reports, salaries were deposited in employees’ accounts on September 5 and now pensioners are waiting to receive their pension. Let me tell you that every month, Rs 12 crore is spent on salaries and Rs 8 crore on pension. That means, a total of 20 crores is the expenditure on salaries and pensions.

The CM had announced that salaries will be paid on September 5 and pensions on September 10.

It is worth mentioning that today, Wednesday, in the Monsoon Session of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukh, while replying to an Opposition question regarding the salaries and pensions of employees and pensioners, said that government employees will receive their salaries on a daily basis. 5th i.e. September, while pensioners will receive it on September 10. Moreover, the state government is working to save on interest on loans for the people. This savings amounts to Rs 30 crore per month and Rs 36 crore per year.

Finance Minister wrote letter

Meanwhile, Special Minister for Finance Rohit Jamwal wrote to the Deputy Director and DGM of the National Level Bankers Committee, saying that no penalty or interest should be levied on EMIs until the salaries and pensions of government employees are credited to their accounts. Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Service Employees Federation delivered the letter to for the proposal.
