Eligibility for Senior Citizens
Senior citizens aged 70 years and above who are already part of other government schemes like the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Ayushman for CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces), or ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) can choose to continue their current scheme or join Ayushman Bharat.
How to Apply for Ayushman Bharat Card?
Senior citizens can apply for the Ayushman Bharat Card by following these steps:
- Visit the official website – Go to https://abdm.gov.in and check your eligibility.
- Verification – Take your Aadhaar card or ration card to the nearest PMJAY kiosk for verification by an authorized agent.
- Submit documents – Provide necessary family identity documents, such as your ration card, to confirm eligibility.
- Get AB-PMJAY ID – After verification, you will receive a unique AB-PMJAY ID.
- Print your e-card – Once your ID is generated, print your e-card to access health insurance benefits.
