There is great news for the all government employees and pensioners of Rajasthan. The state government has given two big gifts to the employees in the festive season.
The state government has increased the limit of death ex gratia amount of employees from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
Apart from this, it has been decided to give the benefit of promotion to the employees of third and fourth class.
Along with this, it has also been decided to provide outdoor facilities up to 30 thousand instead of 20 thousand to the pensioner employees in RGHS.
The gratuity limit increased for state employees
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa said that the maximum limit of gratuity and death ex gratia amount of state employees has been approved to be increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
Now, on the lines of CGHS, male and female employees will get the option to include either of their parents or in-laws for medical facilities in RGHS, provided the all parents or in-laws are also dependent and reside with the depend male or female employee.
In this regard, Rule 3(9) of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Medical Care) Rules, 2013 will be amended, while the announcement of the budget year 2024-25 will be implemented.
The benefit of a family pension will be increased rate for 10 years
Dr. Bairwa said that in case of the death of the employee during service, now the dependent will be able to avail the benefit of a family pension at an increased rate for 10 years, as is available to central employees.
Notification of amendment in Rules 55 and 62 of Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996 for these provisions will be effective from April 1, 2024.
Big decision for promotion of employees
Amendment to Rule 14A and Sub-rule 4 of 20 of Rajasthan District Court Clerk Class Establishment Rules 1986 and Rule 18 and Sub-rule 4 of Rule 30 of Rajasthan Subordinate Court (Driver and Class IV Employees) Service Rules, 2017 has been approved.
These amendments will provide relief to those clerical staff, drivers, and class IV employees of the courts who were denied promotions due to having more than two children.
Now their promotions can be considered from the date on which their promotions became due and they can be given nominal increments.
