Government Subsidy: The Uttar Pradesh government is giving subsidy to encourage farmers. The state has announced to give 50 percent subsidy to sunflower, urad, moong and maize farmers for buying seeds. The government has taken this decision to promote the production of pulses in the state. The government of Uttar Pradesh is giving 50% subsidy to the farmers on sowing of zaid crops in its state. So that the farmers do not have to face financial crisis for the cultivation of pulse crops.

What are the benefits of the initiative

Farmers can get seeds at subsidized rates from any government seed store in their district. Right now, moong and urad seeds are available at government agricultural stores and are being given after deducting the subsidy. The benefit of this subsidy is being given only to the farmers of Uttar Pradesh for the cultivation of pulse crops. The profit of farmers will increase by cultivating urad dal, which comes under pulse crops.

This crop is ready in two to two and a half months. It is full of many nutrients due to which there is a lot of demand for it in the market. Therefore, the farmers who cultivate it earn huge profits.

Benefits

Summer season is considered good for the cultivation of urad dal. Therefore, its sowing should be done in the beginning of April. Apart from this, farmers can also earn huge profits by cultivating moong dal. Because due to the nutrients available in moong dal, it is also in great demand in the market.

Cultivation of pulse crops like moong not only increases the profits of farmers but also develops the production capacity of the fields. Cultivation of pulse crops increases the amount of nitrogen in the fields, which also has a good effect on the production of other crops.
