Subsidies are available not only for the cultivation of fruits and flowers but also for spices, aromatic plants, and medicinal herbs. The government provides subsidies of up to 50 percent, enabling farmers to utilize shade nets, greenhouses, and polyhouses in their agricultural practices. Specifically, farmers can receive a subsidy covering 50 percent of the project costs.
This can attract a subsidy of 40 percent
Additionally, those cultivating fruits such as amla, mango, and guava in open fields can benefit from a subsidy of up to 40 percent. The government also extends subsidies for establishing cold storage facilities and for mushroom farming, with support ranging from 30 to 50 percent for cold storage and 40 percent for mushroom cultivation.

Farmers interested in applying can do so through the official website of the National Horticulture Board at www.nhb.gov.in. For projects costing Rs 20 lakh, an application fee of Rs 2,000 is required, while projects ranging from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh necessitate a fee of Rs 5,000.
