Benefits to 22619 elderly people
This social security pension is like a lifeline for the deprived sections of the people. For many, this pension is a source of livelihood. However, in the last few months, it was reported that the money of this scheme is not coming into the bank accounts of the people. Replying to this, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot had told the House that a total of 23068 old age people have been found eligible to get pension under RajSSP. Of these, 22619 elderly people have started getting the benefit of pension. The cases of the remaining 449 pensioners are pending due to the mistake of e-mitras, on which action will be taken.
