Good news for women. Now the Government will give 7000 rupees every month. Yes you’ve heard it right. The government is rolling out various initiatives to empower women and help them become self-sufficient. One of these is the ‘Bima Sakhi Yojana’ launched by LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) last year. This program is tailored for women who have completed their 10th grade, offering them a fantastic chance to earn money. Participants can make up to Rs 7,000 each month, potentially racking up over Rs 2 lakh in just three years. To be eligible, applicants must be between 18 and 70 years old.

 

Exciting chance to become a LIC agent with special training

 

Through this initiative, women who have passed their 10th grade will receive specialized training to become LIC agents. The goal is to train 2 lakh ‘Bima Sakhi’ across the nation within the next three years. Those who complete the training will also receive a stipend for the first three years. Once trained, they can start working as LIC agents. Additionally, women with a degree can apply for positions as Development Officers in LIC.

 

Earnings during training

 

Participants in the ‘Bima Sakhi’ scheme will earn a monthly stipend while they train. This stipend will be Rs 7,000 in the first year, Rs 6,000 in the second year, and Rs 5,000 in the third year. Over three years, this means women can earn more than Rs 2 lakh just from the stipend, plus they can boost their income through commissions.

 

Eligibility criteria for application

 

Only women can apply for the ‘Bima Sakhi Yojana.’

Applicants must have a Matriculation/High School/10th pass certificate.

The age of applicants should be between 18 and 70 years.

Eligible women will receive three years of training from the government.

After training, they will work as insurance agents.
