Under the scheme, women in Maharashtra will receive ₹1,500 every month. Eligible women must be between 21 and 65 years of age. Applications can be submitted online. The scheme is available to all married, unmarried, divorced, and destitute women.

Odisha Government’s Subhadra Yojana

The Odisha Government recently approved the Subhadra Yojana. Under this scheme, women in Odisha will receive ₹10,000 annually, distributed in two instalments. Additionally, after five years, each beneficiary woman will be eligible for up to ₹50,000. The amount will be directly transferred to their linked bank accounts. A special Subhadra debit card will also be provided. Women aged between 21 and 60 years are eligible for this scheme.

Mahila Samman Saving Certificate Scheme by the Central Government

The Mahila Samman Saving Certificate Scheme, introduced by the Central Government, aims to encourage saving habits among women. Under this scheme, women can deposit amounts ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹2 lakhs. The government offers an attractive annual interest rate of 7.5% (up to ₹15,000). The scheme has a maturity period of two years. Any woman is eligible to open an account under this initiative.

  1. Visit the official India Post website: https://www.indiapost.gov.in.
  2. Go to the “Savings Schemes” section and select Mahila Samman Saving Certificate.
  3. Register or log in to your account.
  4. Fill out the application form with your details and deposit amount.
  5. Upload required documents (ID and address proof).
  6. Pay the amount via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
  7. Submit the application and save the confirmation receipt.
