Free LPG cylinder announced on Diwali

The state government has said that 1 lakh 84 thousand 39 beneficiaries will be given the benefit of free LPG cylinders. To get the benefit of this, the first connection holder will have to pay the full amount of the gas cylinder in cash. As a refund, the amount will be transferred to the consumer’s bank account after three to four days.
Who will get free cylinders?
Only Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries will get the benefit. Those who have been Aadhaar authenticated. Consumers whose e-KYC process has been completed. Only they will get the benefit of this scheme.If you have not yet got your eKYC done, then contact your gas agency and get Aadhaar verification done by now.
How to apply for a free cylinder
To take advantage of this, you must be registered in the Ujjwala scheme. To apply for this scheme, you can apply by visiting the nearest Common Service Center or LPG distributor. The government has started this scheme for women. After fulfilling the necessary conditions, you will be associated with the Ujjwala Yojana Scheme. Explain that the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme get a cylinder cheaper by Rs 300 than the general consumers. The subsidy is directly credited to the bank account of the beneficiaries.
