Yes, the Haryana government has come up with an ambitious scheme for families living below the poverty line. The name of this scheme is BPL Free Housing Scheme.
Under this scheme, the Haryana government is providing free housing to BPL families. Under this, flats and plots will be provided to the needy families.
This scheme will start in 14 cities
For this, the Chief Minister of Haryana has also approved to start it on 26 March 2024. Families who do not have their own land will be given the facility of plot under this scheme. At the same time, those who have land will be given the facility of flat at affordable prices.
The application process has started to avail the benefits of this scheme. This scheme has been made for 14 cities of the state, under which flats will be built for 50 thousand poor families of the state or 10 thousand plots will be provided to the needy people of 14 cities. Or 450 square feet flats will be built and given to the needy poor families.

The price of this plot has been fixed at ₹ 1,00,000, while the price of the flat has been fixed from ₹ 6,00,000 to ₹ 8,00,000 lakhs. Under this scheme, colonies i.e. flats will be constructed in Panchkula, Gurugram, Sonipat and Faridabad of Haryana.
All the necessary facilities will be available in them. Modern technology will be used by the government for the construction of flats. To avail the scheme, it will be mandatory to register first through the official portal.

How to apply
To register for the scheme, first you have to go to the official website of the Housing Department.
Now on the home page of the website, you have to click on the registration option for the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme.
After this, a page will open in front of you in which you have to enter your family identity card number and click on the enter option.
After this, an application form will open in front of you.
All the necessary information asked in it has to be entered carefully.
After entering the information, documents related to this scheme have to be uploaded.
Now you have to click on the submit option.
In this way you will be able to register under the scheme.
