Holiday List 2025: The new year will start in a few days. Everyone is waiting for the new year 2025. Even before the new year, the government released the list of holidays that will fall next year. There will be 17 gazetted holidays and 34 restricted holidays in 2025.
In total, employees will get 41 holidays in addition to weekly holidays. There are a total of 52 Sundays in the year 2025. Apart from this, there will be 26 Saturday holidays in the form of second and fourth Saturdays.
There will be holidays in January on the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, Makar Sankranti, Lohri, Pongal, and Republic Day. In April, there is Mahavir Jayanti and Good Friday. There will be holidays in August for Rakshabandhan, Independence Day, and Janmashtami. There will be holidays in Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath.
