Coaches and players of Uttarakhand sports have received positive news. The honorarium has been increased two to five times by the Pushkar Singh Dhami government of the state. The Uttarakhand government has chosen to raise the budget for hosting training camps and providing allowances to players and coaches in preparation for the 38th National Games. The National Games have been planned to take place between January 28, 2025, and February 14, 2025.
The payment for coaches, high-performance directors, head trainers, assistant trainers, and strength and conditioning experts leading training camps in different sports has been updated. With the National Games approaching, there has been a rise in the allowances and budget allocated for players, coaches, and training camps. Its GO has been appropriately issued as well.

In the housing agreement, the fee per player and coach has been raised from Rs 150 to Rs 800. The food stipend has been raised from Rs 250 to Rs 480. Sports kits, track suits, shoes, socks, and camps will still cost Rs 5,000. The equipment budget for sports materials has been raised from Rs 25,000 to Rs 3 lakh. The cost of various expenses like stationery, refreshments, ground marking material, and ground maintenance has gone up from Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000.
Travel allowance has been raised from Rs 1500 to Rs 2000
The travel allowance has been raised from Rs 1500 to Rs 2000. The salary for head coaches and assistant coaches has been raised as well. The salary of head coaches has been raised from Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,25,000. The stipend for the assistant coach has been raised to Rs. 40,000 eighty thousand.
The cost for physiotherapy services for support staff has been raised to Rs 60,000 per month. Psychologists, nutritionists, and masseurs receive monthly salaries of Rs 60,000, Rs 60,000, and Rs 40,000, respectively.
