There is a big update for Aadhaar and PAN Card holders. It’s super important for folks in India to have certain documents on hand. You end up needing them for all sorts of tasks every day. When we talk about essential documents, the PAN card and Aadhaar card are at the top of the list. Without these two, a lot of your work can hit a snag.

That’s why keeping both of these documents handy is crucial. Sometimes, people misplace them and forget their numbers. If you’ve lost your PAN card or Aadhaar card, don’t stress! You can easily retrieve the information online. Here’s how to do it in a simple way.

Finding your Aadhaar number online is easy. If your Aadhaar card is missing and you can’t remember the number, just head over to the UIDAI official website. Click on the ‘Retrieve EID / Aadhaar number’ option. You’ll need to enter your phone number, name, or email address along with a captcha code to get your Aadhaar number back.

Next, hit the send OTP button. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, which you’ll need to enter. Once you do that, your Aadhaar number will pop up. If you need to get it again from the UIDAI site, just keep in mind there might be a small fee.

Now, if you’ve lost your PAN card and can’t recall the number, go to the Income Tax e-filing website at www.incometax.gov.in. From there, navigate to ‘Quick Links’ and click on ‘Verify your PAN Details’. You’ll need to fill in your name, gender, date of birth, and mobile number. Then, choose whether you’re an individual, HUF, company, local authority, or trust. After entering the captcha code, click ‘Submit’, and your PAN card details will show up right in front of you.
