The Aadhaar card is an important document for Indians, issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). This 12-digit number serves multiple purposes, containing details like your address, date of birth, and other personal information. It is required for government schemes, PAN updates, and GST filing.

If you have not updated your Aadhaar card yet, do it before June 2025. UIDAI has set limits for certain updates—your date of birth can be changed only once, and your name can be updated twice. However, there is no limit on updating your mobile number, photo, or address. You can change your address as many times as needed by visiting the nearest Aadhaar service center.
