Who is ineligible for a ration card?

Individuals who own cars, tractors, four-wheelers, refrigerators, licensed firearms, or air conditioners are not eligible for a ration card. Additionally, those in rural areas with an annual income exceeding Rs 2 lakh and urban residents with an income over Rs 3 lakh are also disqualified. Furthermore, anyone who files an income tax return will not be able to access the ration card benefits.
