If you have forgotten which mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card, then UIDAI has created a simple process to check it, with the help of which you can quickly get this information at home.

How to check a linked mobile number

First, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI: https://uidai.gov.in/. Here, you have to click on the My Aadhaar section. After this, you have to click on the Aadhaar Services option. Here, you will see the option to Verify an Aadhaar Number. Now, enter your Aadhaar number and register the Captcha code. After this, click on Proceed to Verify. Now, you will see your number linked to Aadhaar.

How to link Aadhaar to the mobile number

Step 1: First of all, go to the link of the Indian Postal Service website.
Step 2: Fill in basic information like your name, address, mobile number, and e-mail ID here.
Step 3: Go down in the form and select the ‘PPB- Aadhaar Service’ option as a service.
Step 4: Select UIDAI-Mobile/E-mail for Aadhaar linking/update.
Step 5: After completing the form, click the request button.
Step 6: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number on the next screen.
Step 7: Now click on ‘Confirm Service Request’. You will get a reference number, which you can use to track the status of your application.

Step 8: Once submitted, your request will be sent to your nearest post office.

Step 9: The Aadhaar update officer will do the verification process. The officer will visit your address and carry out the verification process using a mobile biometric device.

Step 10: After this, updating the mobile number with Aadhaar will be completed.
