Step 2: Next, input the verification code provided.
Step 3: Click on the proceed option.
Step 4: You will then need to enter your PAN and TAN numbers.
Step 5: Select one financial year, quarter, and return.
Step 6: Finally, click on the GO option. You will be redirected to a screen displaying your TDS details.
How to Verify TDS Using Form 26AS
Step 1: Begin by visiting the Income Tax e-filing portal.
Step 2: If you are a new user, you must complete the registration process first.
Step 3: Once registered, log in to your account and select the “My Account” option.
Step 4: Next, choose the “View Form 26AS” option.
Step 5: Select the relevant financial year and the PDF format, then proceed to download the document.
Please note that the downloaded PDF will be password-protected; to access it, you will need to enter the date of birth associated with your PAN card. Additionally, TDS can also be verified through the TDSCPC portal.
