The UAN, or Universal Account Number, is a unique 12-digit identifier assigned to every employee’s Provident Fund (PF) account. A portion of your salary is deposited into this PF account each month, and the UAN is essential for managing it.
Whether you need to check your EPF balance or update the phone number associated with your account, your UAN is required for these tasks. If you’ve forgotten your UAN, there’s no need to panic.
