IRCTC DOWN: Online booking of tickets from Indian Railways’ online ticket booking platform IRCTC is closed. Apart from this, cancellation and Tatkal ticket bookings are all closed. Due to the IRCTC website being down, passengers face much difficulty looking for tickets on Monday.
Passengers are looking very upset because they are not able to book tickets. People waiting for Tatkal ticket booking are facing the most trouble.IRCTC’s server went down as soon as the Tatkal booking window opened. Now, people are seen complaining about it on social media. However, no IRCTC has shared any information; a downtime message is coming when logging in to IRCTC’s website.

The message states that the e-ticketing service will be closed for the next 1 hour due to maintenance work. On the other hand, to cancel tickets and file TDR, people are bold to call the customer care number or email. As soon as the booking of Tatkal tickets starts at 10 am, people cannot book their tickets due to the server being down.

People are constantly seen complaining and sharing screenshots on social media. People booking Tatkal tickets are facing a lot of trouble. People express their displeasure on social media; some tag IRCTC and ask many questions.

Usually, IRCTC website maintenance work is done after 11 am, but it was done before that today. People are talking about cyber attacks. Because ticket booking for AC Tatkal is done from 10 am while booking for non-AC is done from 11 am.
