UP CM Yogi Adityanath has launched the Easy Installment Scheme for the recovery of outstanding electricity bills. Under this scheme, people can register on the official website of the Electricity Department at the UPenergy official website. The goal of the Easy Installment Scheme is to provide relief to common citizens, including farmers, by helping them pay their electricity bills in easy instalments.

How to Register Online for Kisan Asan Kist Yojana:

Now you can register online to avail the benefits of Kisan Asan Kist Yojana by following the registration process given below:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Department at https://www.upenergy.in/uppcl.
  2. Access the Bill Payment Section: On the homepage of the website, click on the Bill Payment section.
  3. Click on the Registration Link: Select the link for Registration for Asan Kist Yojna/Kisan Kist Yojna (Rural/Urban).
    If the link is not available, you can directly visit: https://uppcl.mpower.in/wss/index.htm.
  4. Login to Consumer Account: Log in under the Consumer Login section by using your user ID or account number and password.
    If you’re a new user, click on Register Now to create a username and password.
  5. Fill in the Online Registration Form: After logging in, the UPPCL Asan Kist Yojana online registration form will open.
    Enter your account number, service connection number, password, name, mobile number, and optionally, your email ID.
  6. Complete Registration: After filling in all the details, click the Register button to complete the registration process.
  7. Login and Apply Online: After registration, login again and apply online for the Kisan Asan Kist Yojana.

Eligibility and Payment Process:

Under the UP Kisan Easy Installment Scheme, farmers can pay the principal amount of their outstanding electricity bills within the stipulated period. Farmers can also apply for the scheme at their nearest CSC or sub-division office.

  • Minimum Payment Required:
    Farmers need to deposit 5% of their outstanding electricity bill or a minimum of Rs 1,500, along with their current tubewell electricity bill.
  • No Load Limit:
    No electrical load limit has been set for this scheme, so any tubewell electricity holder can register for the Easy Installment Scheme.
  • Help and Support:
    For more information related to registration or applications in the scheme, farmers can call the helpline number 1912.
