PM Kisan Yojana: The Modi government is running a variety of schemes for Indian farmers to double their income. The central government is actively assisting farmers financially.

The central government is currently providing financial assistance to farmers in India through various schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Kisan Credit Card Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.

Crores of farmers in the country are taking advantage of all these schemes. The central government has initiated numerous schemes to provide financial empowerment to farmers.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is the most ambitious scheme of the government. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year is given to the farmers of the country. However, this amount is not given in one go but in 3 installments.

Now another initiative is being taken by the Modi government to give better yield to the farmers and strengthen them financially. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced that the government will start a monthly radio program ‘Kisan Se Baat’ to provide scientific information related to farming to farmers.

The objective of this initiative will be to modernize the methods of farming. This program is being started inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s popular radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, seeing the need to transfer scientific benefits to farmers quickly, said that ‘farmers often lack information, due to which pesticides are misused. We need to pay a lot of attention to this.

‘Kisan Se Baat’ program will start in September!

A government official said that, if we believe, this program can be started in the month of September. It should be started a week before the Prime Minister’s radio program.

When will the 18th installment of PM Kisan come?

In the PM Kisan Yojana, the money for the next installment of the farmers is given after every 4 months. Till now, the amount of the 17th installment came to the farmers in June 2024. In such a situation, it is expected that the 18th installment of PM Kisan can be released between October and November.
