To transform farmers into entrepreneurs, the government of Rajasthan is implementing the Rajasthan Agricultural Processing, Agricultural Business, and Agricultural Export Promotion Policy and Subsequent Scheme 2019. This scheme aims to empower farmers by offering financial assistance to those who wish to establish industries in the agricultural sector.

Through this initiative, farmers can receive support to set up agricultural processing units, start agricultural businesses, and engage in agricultural exports. The policy encourages farmers to diversify their activities, fostering economic growth in the agriculture sector.

Under the Rajasthan Agricultural Processing, Agricultural Business, and Agricultural Export Promotion Policy and Subsequent Scheme 2019, the state government is offering significant financial support to both farmers and traders involved in the agricultural sector. Farmers are eligible to receive a grant of up to 50 per cent of the scheme’s total cost, with a maximum grant of one crore rupees. This grant is aimed at encouraging farmers to invest in agricultural processing, businesses, and exports.

Support for Traders
Traders are eligible for a grant of 25% of the total cost, capped at ₹50 lakh. This is designed to encourage trade-related activities within the agricultural sector.
