LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: With the aim of making women self-reliant, the Government of India has announced to launch a new scheme, this scheme has been named Bima Sakhi Yojana and this scheme will be implemented across India by launching this scheme on December 9 under the country. By giving the benefit of this new scheme, women will be made financially independent and employment opportunities will be made available to women. Bima Sakhi Scheme 2024
The Bima Sakhi scheme will be launched on 9 December 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the state of Haryana. Starting this scheme from this state, gradually this scheme will be implemented in the whole of India, covering different states. Through this scheme, an amount of ₹ 7000 to ₹ 21000 will be provided to women. And various types of commissions and rewards will be awarded.
Due to the Bima Sakhi scheme, women will be made insurance agents. After becoming an insurance agent, women will have to insure the people around them. The more and more insurance women get, the more commission will be given to women. Women from rural areas will be self-reliant by taking advantage of this scheme.
Benefits of Bima Sakhi Scheme
The biggest benefit of this scheme is that in the first year, assistance of ₹ 7000 will be provided to women every month, in the second year, an amount of ₹ 6000 will be provided every month, while in the third year, an amount of ₹ 5000 will be provided every month.
In the initial phase, 35000 women will be added through this scheme, after which gradually the number of women will be increased and more women will be added to this scheme. With the implementation of this scheme, many insurance services will reach many areas and insurance schemes can be availed there too.
Eligibility
1. To apply for the Bima Sakhi scheme, the woman should have obtained Indian citizenship.
2. Only women will be considered eligible for this scheme.
3. The woman must have her 10th class mark sheet.
4. The highest priority will be given to women living in rural areas.
5. The woman should be over 18 years of age to apply for the scheme.
