How will the rest of the things be updated
If you want to update your name, date of birth, mobile number, biometric (fingerprint/eye scanning), etc. on the Aadhaar card, then for all these tasks you will have to go to your nearest Aadhaar center. Which things will be updated for free in offline updates and for which things you will have to pay a fee?
According to official information, mandatory biometric update is done for free. As per UIDAI rules, it is necessary to get the biometric update of children’s Aadhaar card done twice – first time at the age of 5 years and second time at the age of 15 years. This is called mandatory biometric update.
To update demographic updates like name, date of birth, mobile number etc., you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 50 including GST.
If there is no mandatory biometric update, in this case, if you get the biometric updated, you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 50 including GST.
For taking a colour printout on A4 sheet for Aadhaar search using e-KYC/any other device you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 30 including GST.
