Typically, the prices of LPG cylinders will be revised on the first day of each month. The upcoming prices for LPG are set to be announced on the first of December in 2024. The information provided by IOC shows that prior to the Modi administration, the price of domestic LPG cylinders on December 1, 2013 was Rs 1021 in Delhi, Rs 1050.5 in Kolkata, Rs 1038 in Mumbai, and Rs 1014 in Chennai. Today, November 29, the price is dropping by around 200 rupees at the current rate. Currently, the cost of a LPG cylinder in Delhi stands at Rs 803. It was also offered at the identical price on March 9.
Over the past 11 years, the least expensive 14 kg household LPG cylinder costed Rs 584 in December 2016, while the highest price was recorded in December 2022. During that period, LPG cylinders were priced at Rs 1053 in Delhi.
In December 2023, LPG cylinder prices were Rs 903.00 in Delhi, Rs 929 in Kolkata, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 918.50 in Chennai. In December 2022, the price of the domestic cylinder was Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1079 in Kolkata, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 1068.50 in Chennai.
In December 2021, the price was Rs 899.50 in Delhi, Rs 926 in Kolkata, Rs 899.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 915.50 in Chennai. In December 2020, the price was Rs 694 in Delhi, Rs 720.5 in Kolkata, Rs 694 in Mumbai, and Rs 710 in Chennai.
