The central government has introduced Mahila Samna Yojana for women. Under this scheme, any woman can invest and get good returns. This scheme is designed only for women. If a woman invests in this scheme or parents invest in the name of their daughter, then they can get direct benefits. Under Mahila Samman Yojana, you get interest at the rate of 7.5%.

Who can invest and how much

If you are a woman or any person can invest in this scheme in the name of his mother, daughter, or wife. In this scheme, you can invest a minimum of Rs 1000 and a maximum of Rs 100000. This scheme works on a tenure of 2 years.

Before maturity, if you want, you are allowed to withdraw 40% of the money after one year. If for any reason the account holder dies, then the money is given to the nominee at the rate of 5% after closing the account.

How to apply

If you want to invest under Mahila Samman Yojana, then you have to go to your nearest bank or post office and apply for this scheme. There you have to fill out the form for Mahila Samman Yojana and submit it along with documents like an Aadhar card, PAN card, and photo.
