Mahila Samman Yojana: Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced that the Mahila Samman Yojana registration will start on Monday (December 23). Soon, the women of Delhi will begin receiving Rs 2100 in the scheme in their accounts.
During the press conference, Arvind Kejriwal told the media that Rs 2100 would be deposited into women’s accounts every month. Registration will start tomorrow,.e. Monday. Registration has been made mandatory to avail of the benefits of this scheme. How will Mahila Samman Nidhi’s registration be done?
Arvind Kejriwal said, “We have great news for the people of Delhi. We have come up with two schemes for them. We have announced that Rs 2100 will be given to women every month. This Samman Nidhi will help women manage household expenses a lot. With this, women will be able to educate their daughters.
Kejriwal further said, “I have received many calls and have been asked when registration for this will start. So, I disclose that the registration for the scheme starts on Monday, December 23. You do not need to come; going anywhere is unnecessary. Our people will come to you themselves and, after registering you, will also give you a card.”
On the other hand, under the Sanjeevani scheme, free treatment for older people above 6e has been started. The Delhi government will bear the cost of everyone’s treatment. Registration will also begin tomorrow.
It is worth noting that on December 12, Kejriwal announced the launch of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana on behalf of the Delhi government. Kejriwal said that if the Aam Aadmi Party returns to power after the elections, the monthly assistance amount will increase from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,100. Kejriwal’s party is trying to come to power for the fourth time.
