Thousands of women in Jharkhand benefit from the Maiya Samman Yojana, which was launched by the Hemant Soren government in 2024. So far, the financial aid has only been disbursed up until December.
The payments for January and February haven’t come through yet. So, people are wondering when they’ll receive their installment money. Just a heads up, in March, this amount will cover three months.
According to media reports, the Hemant Soren government might surprise many women in the state with their installment on International Women’s Day, which is March 8. Initially, women received a support amount of one thousand rupees, but after the elections, the Hemant Soren government bumped it up to Rs 2500.
Will I get 7500 rupees all at once?
Women benefiting from the Maiya Samman Yojana have financial support lined up until December 2024. In March, those enrolled in the scheme will have three months’ payments pending from the state government. So, if the installment is released in March, adding up Rs 2500 for January, Rs 2500 for February, and Rs 2500 for March means women could receive a total of Rs 7500. Just keep in mind, this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
