Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana : The Maharashtra government’s new scheme ‘Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana’ was launched on August 17, 2024. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that women whose financial condition is not so well will get a financial help of Rs. 1500 every month directly in their bank accounts . This scheme is designed to provide financial assistance especially to women from economically disadvantaged families. Its aim is to promote women’s development and education in the state.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
Only the Women who are permanent residents of the state can avail the benefits of the scheme. And the age limit set for Applicants is between the ages of 21 and 65. Married, single, divorced and homeless women are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a bank account and their family income must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.

How to apply for the offline scheme?
Women who are unable to apply online on their own can contact Anganwadi workers, Setu Suvidha Kendra, Gram Sevak, ASHA workers or the district administration to take help for filling the form. There is no fee for this application. The applicant’s name, date of birth and address should be correctly matched in the Aadhar card and the form. Also, enter your bank details and phone number correctly.
How to apply online
The government has released a mobile number for citizens to register for the scheme. The app is called ‘Nari Shakti Doot’ app. With this, every beneficiary can register their name for ‘Mazhi Ladki Behan Yojana’. The app is available for all the types of the device . With this, you can easily register from your phone to benefit from the scheme from the comfort of your home.
