Kawasaki has launched an updated version of one of its bikes, the supersport model named Kawasaki ZX-4R. Apart from mechanical upgrades, several other changes have been made to its design. The new Kawasaki ZX-4R is priced ₹30,000 more than the previous model. It has been launched in India at ₹8.79 lakh. This bike features a powerful engine and competes with larger models like the Triumph Daytona 660 (₹9.72 lakh) and Suzuki GSX-8S (₹9.25 lakh) in the Indian market.

Engine specifications of 2025 Kawasaki ZX-4R

The 2025 Kawasaki ZX-4R is equipped with a 399cc, four-cylinder engine. This engine generates 75.9 hp (77 hp with ram air) and 39 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike uses a tubular steel frame and comes with Showa suspension at both the front and rear. For braking, the front features 290mm rotors and a dual-disc setup.

Notable Features

The new Kawasaki ZX-4R offers a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. It comes with four different riding modes. For those looking for additional features, a quick-shifter and preload-adjustable suspension are available for ₹63,000 extra. The new bike is offered in three new colour schemes: Lime Green, Ebony, and Pearl Blizzard White. Additionally, the ZX-4R is available in a sleek black finish.

Other Specifications

The bike comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, featuring a 120-section front tyre and a 160-section rear tyre. The ground clearance is 135mm, the seat height is 800mm, and the curb weight for both models is 189kg.
