Maruti Suzuki’s latest model has achieved a significant milestone by securing a 5-star safety rating in crash tests. The new Maruti Dzire is the brand’s first car to pass the rigorous Global NCAP crash test, marking a major step forward for the company. Notably, receiving a 5-star rating from Global NCAP is considerably more challenging than the India NCAP test. Previously, Maruti cars had received up to 4-star safety ratings in crash assessments.
New Maruti Dzire gets 5 stars
The new generation model of Maruti Dzire has got 5 stars in adult occupant safety. This car has got 4 stars in child occupant safety. Talking about the score of this car in the crash test, New Dzire has got 31.24 marks out of 34 in adult occupant safety, which is a good score for this Maruti. This car has got 39.2 marks out of 42 in child occupant safety.

Safety features of Maruti Dzire
The biggest reason behind the Maruti Dzire getting a 5-star safety rating is that automakers have increased safety features in this car. The standard model of this car includes ESC and pedestrian safety features. During the crash test of this car, the structure of the car and the footwell area remained stable. This car also has a safety feature of a 3-point seat belt for all seats. Global NCAP conducted a pole test on Maruti Dzire, in which full head protection was seen. Also, the car passed the side impact test.
The previous model of Maruti Dzire got 2-2 stars in both adult occupant safety and child occupant safety in the crash test. In the old Dzire, only 2 airbags were given in the front for safety. On the other hand, 6 airbags have been given for safety in the new generation model of Dzire.
When will the new Maruti Dzire be launched?
The model that is going to be launched in the Indian market was used in the Global NCAP crash test. Maruti Suzuki has prepared the new Dzire in a much better way. Maruti has now eliminated the tension of safety with this car. The 5th generation model of Maruti Dzire is going to be launched in the Indian market on November 11. This car has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine.
