Many state governments have run so many schemes for helping people.. In today’s article we are discussing one of them. This scheme’s name is Mukhyamanti ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’. Now there is a big update revealed regarding this scheme. Aadhar is now a requirement to access the benefits of the Mukhyamanti Maiya Samman Yojana.
Beneficiaries of this scheme must not only present their Aadhaar but also complete the Aadhaar authentication process. The Women and Child Development Department has released a notification regarding this. Women who do not possess an Aadhaar number will need to apply for Aadhaar enrollment prior to registration.
The government has also established this protocol.
Additionally, until an Aadhaar number is issued, individuals must provide one of the 10 accepted identity cards. In cases where Aadhaar authentication fails due to issues like poor biometric data, alternative methods will be implemented. For instance, if fingerprint quality is inadequate, iris scanning or facial recognition will be used for authentication.
Under this scheme, the January installment is expected to be credited to women’s accounts on January 28 or 29. The verification of beneficiaries and data updates in the districts are nearly complete.
A protest took place at the Sadar Block cum Zonal Office on Friday, organized by the Jharkhand State Construction Workers Union (CITU), to address the issues in the Mainiya Samman Yojana. The event began with a procession from Children’s Park, where participants chanted slogans demanding corrections to the application errors, the reopening of the portal for new applications, and the approval of pending Sarvajan pensions.
Many women are facing difficulties as their payments are delayed due to mistakes in entering their bank account and IFSC codes in the online application. Each day, hundreds of women visit the zonal office seeking corrections, only to leave feeling disheartened.
District Secretary Ramesh Prajapati and District President Prem Prakash warned that if the issues are not resolved and payments are not processed within 15 days, they will initiate an indefinite strike. Following the demonstration, a 10-member delegation presented a memorandum to the BDO. Notable attendees included women like Mahendra Turi, Nageshwar Das, Shambhu Paswan, Basanti Devi, Jitan Turi, Binod Turi, Mahendra Yadav, Karuna Devi, and Reena Kumari.
