The domestic airline Star Air is set to offer a new gift to air travelers in four cities of the nation for the new year. The cities include Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jharsuguda, and Raipur. Star Air will link Hyderabad and Lucknow to Jharsuguda and Raipur starting January 1.
As reported by a news agency , regional carrier Star Air provided this update on Wednesday. Star Air announced that with this strategic growth in these cities, the overall number of destinations served by the airline has risen to 24. As per the report, the declaration of new destinations being added to the network follows the airline’s recent announcement about its intentions to grow its fleet to 25 aircraft within the next three years, aimed at enhancing last-mile connectivity in tier-2 and tier-3 cities across the country.
Presently operates a fleet comprising nine planes
The airline presently operates a fleet comprising nine planes, which includes four Embraer E175 and five Embraer E145. These planes place it in a strong position for future expansion and linkages.
Star Air’s CEO, Simran Singh Tiwana, stated that these flights are intended to enhance passenger convenience while also fostering the development of business, tourism, and economic opportunities in these areas. The introduction of additional flights linking Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jharsuguda, and Raipur marks a significant advancement in Star Air’s effort to enhance regional connectivity throughout India.
Initial Fare
The initial fare for the flight from Jharsuguda to Hyderabad beginning January 1 is Rs 4499 in economy class, whereas the charge in business class is Rs 5999. This nonstop flight connecting the two cities will finish its trip in 1 hour and 45 minutes. This flight is scheduled to leave Jharsuguda on January 1 at 21:15 and will arrive in Hyderabad at 23:00.
