Postal Life Insurance was established in the year 1884. In 1888, the staff of the Telegraph Department were included in this insurance plan. Previously, it was exclusively for government workers. However, starting in April 2023, this program is now available to all graduates. There are two kinds of insurance: the first is Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and the second is Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLE). Villagers are displaying significant enthusiasm for Rural Postal Life Insurance. Deepak Yadav, the Development Officer at Postal Life Insurance Corporation, mentioned that this insurance is backed by a guarantee from the Government of India. Postal Life Insurance began in the year 1884. In 1888, the workers of the Telegraph Department were included in this insurance coverage.
