All information regarding the PAN card will be kept in the QR code. The government aims to streamline the physical PAN card procedure with PAN 2.0. Due to the enhanced security of the new PAN card. Now you don’t have to wait 10-15 days for the PAN card anymore. The PAN card will be delivered to your email in PDF format within 30 minutes. As all the information is encoded as a QR code, it is protected against cyber fraud.
Simple online verification
Verification online will also be simplified. Verification of PAN card will be done by scanning a QR code. A physical card is no longer necessary. Initially, access the e-PAN portal of the Income Tax Department. Choose the Instant PAN feature on the main page. Now, input your Aadhaar card number and confirm it using the OTP dispatched to your registered mobile number. Provide your email address and additional information.
Updated e-PAN card in 30 minutes!
The Aadhaar number must be connected with the mobile number. The updated e-PAN card will be delivered to your email address within 30 minutes after your application. You can download and store the card in PDF format. There is no fee if you request a new PAN card or PAN 2.0 by mail. A minimum fee applies if you desire a physical card.
