Government Announced New Rules

The Indian Government For online PAN card correction, you don’t have to do much or go anywhere. Follow these simple steps:

• Visit the official website of Income Tax India (www.incometaxindia.gov.in).
• Enter your PAN number and log in.
• Select the option for PAN card correction.
• Fill in the required details on the screen and upload the necessary documents.
• Submit the form and pay a correction fee of about Rs 106.
• After payment, click on the submit option. You will receive a receipt.
• Use the receipt number to track your PAN card and find out when it will be delivered.
• Alternatively, you can also make corrections through the NSDL e-Gov portal.

Offline PAN Card Correction Process

If you prefer offline correction, follow these steps:

• Visit the nearest PAN service office.
• Fill out a form for PAN card correction.
• Attach the necessary documents with the form.
• Submit the form and the documents.
• Your updated PAN card will be delivered to your home in a few days.

How to Apply for a PAN Card Online

1. Visit the Website: Go to Income Tax India or NSDL e-Gov.
