Crude price in the international market

For the last few days, benchmark Brent crude prices have been falling in the international market. Its price is currently $71.72 per barrel. Brent crude prices have fallen by five percent in the last five days and 10 percent in one month. However, crude prices keep fluctuating, so oil companies are refraining from changing the price of petrol and diesel.

• In Kolkata, the price of petrol is Rs 104.93 per litre and diesel is Rs 91.75 per litre.
• In Chennai, the price of petrol is Rs 100.73 per litre and diesel is Rs 92.32 per litre.

According to the Indian government oil company, petrol and diesel prices have decreased in some states of Uttar Pradesh. In Ghaziabad, the price of petrol has been reduced by 12 paise and the price of diesel by 14 paise. In Lucknow also, the price of petrol has been reduced by 12 paise and the price of diesel by 14 paise. Apart from UP, the price of petrol has also come down in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Here there has been a decrease of 8 paise in the price of petrol and 7 paise in the price of diesel.
