PM-DHM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Digital Health Mission (PM-DHM) on Monday. A health ID will be available in the Pradhan Mantri Digital Health Mission.
This will be a unique 14-digit health identification. which every citizen will get. You will not have to carry any test report or slip etc. All the information will be present in the health card.
The aim is to bring revolutionary change to health facilities
On this occasion PM Modi said that in the last seven years. the campaign to strengthen the health facilities of the country is entering a new phase from today. Today a mission is being started. which has the power to bring revolutionary change in the health facilities of India.
Earlier this scheme was running in the name of National Digital Health Mission (NDHM). The aim of this scheme is to create a digital health system at the national level. So that a nationwide digital health eco-system can be created.
Patients will get rid of the file
After the Unique Health Card is made the patient will get rid of carrying the file to see the doctor. The doctor or hospital will be able to extract the complete data of the patient by looking at his Unique Health ID and further treatment can be started on that basis.
Know what is Unique Health ID?
Unique Health ID (Digital Health ID) will be a 14-digit randomly generated number. With its help, the health record of the person can be kept. It is not necessary that it should be made from Aadhar Card only. Unique ID can also be made with the help of phone number only.

The government will make a unique health card for every person
Under the Pradhan Mantri Digital Health Mission, the government will make a unique health card for every person. This card will be completely digital and will look like an Aadhaar card.
A number will be given on this card. just like the Aadhaar number. This number will identify the person in the health sector. Through this number, doctors will be able to know the complete record of that person.
