PM Kisan Nidhi, 18th installment: The farmers of India grow crops by working hard day and night. Heavy rains can spoil the farmers’ crops, while droughts can cause them significant hardship.
In addition to this, financially disadvantaged farmers often encounter significant challenges in their farming endeavors. There are some farmers who do farming by taking someone else’s land.
Therefore, the Government of India has started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, under which financial assistance of up to 6 thousand rupees is given to crores of farmers of India annually. Every four months, eligible farmers receive an installment of 2-2 thousand rupees.
In this sequence, the next installment is the 18th, where the beneficiaries will soon receive an installment of 2 thousand rupees. But, there may be many farmers who may be deprived of the benefits of the 18th installment. So let’s know what are the reasons behind this. The installment of these farmers may get stuck:-
A farmer may lose the next installment if he makes an error in the application form. Actually, while joining the scheme, you have to fill a form, in which many other important information like your name, address etc. have to be filled. If you make any mistakes in this form, your installment may be delayed. Therefore, it is crucial to pay close attention to this during the application process.
The installment money received under PM Kisan Yojana is sent directly to the bank account of the farmers. The government transfers this money to the bank account of the beneficiaries through DBT. Therefore, your bank account information should be correct, otherwise you will not get the money.
It is mandatory for the farmers associated with this scheme to get e-KYC done. Farmers who fail to complete this work will forfeit the benefits of the installment. In addition, farmers who fail to complete land verification may encounter delays in their installment. Farmers who don’t have their Aadhar card linked to their bank account may also encounter difficulties with their installment.
