    The scheme is fully funded by the Government of India, with an initial annual budget of Rs. 75,000 crore. Rs. 17,000 crore was disbursed in the latest instalment via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
  3. Beneficiary Identification:
    State and Union Territory governments are responsible for identifying eligible beneficiaries, which include a farmer’s family (husband, wife, and minor children).
