PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: The country’s central government implements numerous programs for the farmers. An example of this program is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers in the nation get support of Rs under this program; 6,000 annually. This sum is transferred straight to the farmers’ bank account via direct benefit transfer in three payments of 2000 each.

Will an unmarried farmer get benefit?

Whether the farmer is married or unmarried, it is irrelevant in the scheme. If he meets the eligibility criteria, he will receive the benefits. In the PM Kisan scheme, only farmers whose names are on the land title receive the benefit. Up to now, the central government has dispatched a sum of 18 payments to the farmers through the PM Kisan program.

Currently, the farmers are anticipating the arrival of the 19th payment. The government delivered the 18th payment in October, therefore farmers can expect the next payment in February 2025.

The Kisan Samman Nidhi provides some help in farming. Earlier there was no such scheme, but since its implementation, it has benefited. Farmer Mahendra Prasad thanked PM Modi and the government for the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’. He said he got Rs 2,000 under the scheme. With this amount, they will buy fertilizers, seeds and necessary medicines for farming. He said that such schemes were not run earlier, but since it was implemented, it is benefiting. According to the information, about 9 farmers of this village have got the benefit of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which includes women. Other farmers also said that they have received financial assistance from the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’, which helps in farming.

The farmers who benefited from the scheme include Dinesh Paswan, Girja Devi, Jung Bahadur Paswan, Kameshwar Kewat, Pappu Kewat, Pinky Kumari, Rupa Kumari, and Shobha Devi. Farmers say that with the amount received under this scheme, they are able to buy fertilizers, seeds and other agricultural materials, which is improving their agriculture.
