When will the 19th instalment be released?

Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently informed the media that the 19th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on February 24. He also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bhagalpur, Bihar, on this occasion.

No update on the portal yet

While the Agriculture Minister has announced the date, there is no official update on the PM Kisan Yojana website. Currently, the portal still displays the release date of the 18th instalment, which was issued on October 5.

Money is transferred directly to bank accounts

If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana and waiting for the 19th instalment, know that the government transfers the money directly to the bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This ensures that the full amount reaches the beneficiaries without any deductions.

Who will not receive the 19th instalment?

Some farmers may not receive the 19th instalment due to the following reasons:

  • Farmers who have not completed e-KYC.
  • Farmers who have not done land verification.
  • Farmers whose Aadhaar is not linked to their account.
