Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on Monday, 24 January 2025, from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Reasons for Not Receiving the 19th Installment

  • e-KYC: It is mandatory to complete e-KYC under the PM-Kisan scheme. If you haven’t completed it yet, go to the PM-Kisan portal and do an OTP-based e-KYC or visit the CSC center for biometric e-KYC.
  • Incorrect Bank or Aadhaar Details: If the IFSC code, bank account number, or Aadhaar number is wrong, the payment may fail. In such cases, contact your local agriculture department or bank branch to update the correct information.
  • Name Mismatch: Payments may fail if the names on the Aadhaar card and bank account do not match. Visit your bank branch to correct the name mismatch.
  • Incomplete Land Record Verification: If the land record verification is not complete, your installment may be stopped. Contact your state agriculture department or patwari/lekhpal and submit the required documents.

Tips to Avoid Payment Issues

  • Complete your e-KYC on time.
  • Ensure that your bank account information is correct.
  • Make sure the land records verification process is complete.
  • Regularly check the status of your installment on the PM-Kisan portal.

If your 19th installment is still pending despite following all these steps, contact the officials of the Union Agriculture Ministry. Their contact details are available in the “Contact Us” section of the PM-Kisan portal.
